Britain’s Heritage Heroes

In this fifteen-part series for BBC2, Jules teamed up with fellow Countryfile presenter John Craven as they travelled the length and breadth of Britain showcasing the men and women who’ve dedicated their efforts to saving and restoring Britain’s endangered heritage. From landscapes and lifestyles, to buildings and skills, the duo shared their intimate experience and knowledge of the UK as they championed the often unsung heroes of the heritage world.

As informal as it was incisive, Jules’ and John’s revealing take on the challenging business of conservation nationwide, allowed a very personal exploration of many key moments in our national history, often painstakingly and lovingly preserved by the secret army of Britain’s Heritage Heroes.
